WYSWYG Supports Launch of Eatwhatyagot.com's recipe focused social network

New York, NY - February 3rd, 2009 - WYSWYG provides innovative strategic marketing, consulting and creative solutions to startups and Fortune 500 companies. Eatwhatyagot.com a New York Based start up focused on building a Social Networking site and required the development of their custom software platform and user interface.
"Eat what ya got is a social networking site that help leverage ingredients in your fridge or pantry to cook at home", said Patricia Martin, Creative director of WYSWYG. "As a young start up with only private funding this project needed to be done within extreme budget constraints. Working with WYSWYG we created a custom designed website with a back office recipe management database and social networking platform. The site tools include recipe posting and customization, recipe distribution, profile management including tools to upload recipe photos and videos. The networking platform includes e-invitations to food events, menu planning, grocery planning and calendar sharing. The ingredient database allows advertisers, sponsors and affiliates to link ingredients to their brands and supports couponing, click throughs and targeting advertising within the recipe. A back office advertising tool supports custom size advertising for targeted pages. Ecommerce includes an online store with select seasonal products and Eat What Ya Got merchandise. A kids section supports games and kid friendly interactive content.
"Our immediate goal was to launch quickly and gather additional requirements after our beta phase", said Selysette Sanchez, Eathwatyagot.com's Social Media Manager. "WYSWYG was able to do this while we were live and never skip a beat. Today the site is up and active with thousands of members. We needed a true partner to get our start up from concept to reality. WYSWYG's team helped us do the inconceivable - build an actual application not a prototype and launch a site on time within our budget constraints."
